Defect removal varies by vehicle; a stage count is not a guarantee that every scratch will disappear. Ceramic coating, PPF and any wet sanding are confirmed separately in your quote.
REFINE THE PAINT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Paint correction uses abrasive machine polishing to reduce defects in the paint’s upper surface. By refining fine scratches and unevenness, it improves reflected light, gloss and colour depth.
On a clear-coated vehicle, the work removes a small amount of clear coat. It does not add new paint or fill a stone chip. The aim is a cleaner, more consistent finish while preserving as much coating as practical.
Fine circular wash marks become especially visible around sunlight or inspection lamps. A suitable polish and pad combination can reduce these marks and improve clarity.
Surface scratches may respond to polishing. Depth matters more than how long the mark looks, so we inspect it before promising removal.
Refinement can improve haze, dullness and eligible oxidation. Peeling or failing paint needs a different repair approach.

These services address different needs. Correction improves the existing finish; coating or film is selected to protect suitable surfaces afterward.
Choose this for visible swirls, light scratches and reduced clarity. The work refines the surface and improves appearance; it is not a protective film.
A compatible coating adds water repellency and helps with routine cleaning. It does not erase scratches or replace paint correction.
PPF adds a physical layer to covered panels for protection against smaller road impacts. Film selection and preparation depend on the vehicle and coverage.
KEEP THE CLARITY YOU HAVE RESTORED
The finish can develop new marks if grit is rubbed across it during washing or drying. A careful maintenance routine matters after every level of correction.
Rinse loose dirt away, use clean wash media and dry with soft, clean towels. Avoid abrasive brush washes and wiping dusty paint with a dry cloth.
Follow the curing and washing instructions for any coating or film you add. Remove insects and bird droppings promptly with a suitable gentle method.

One stage suits paint that mainly needs more gloss and lighter defect reduction. Two stages combine cutting and refining for more visible swirls. Three stages add a further finishing step for suitable paint. A test spot helps us recommend the level that makes sense for your vehicle.
No. Fine marks within the surface may be reduced or removed, but deep scratches, chips and missing paint can require touch-up or refinishing. Some defects should remain because chasing them would remove too much material. We explain those limits before work starts.
Yes. On clear-coated paint, abrasive correction removes a small amount of the upper coating to refine defects. The amount depends on the method and the paint. Inspection, appropriate measurements and a test section help guide a conservative approach; correction is not something to repeat aggressively at every detail.
Defects removed by abrasion do not return by themselves. However, rough washing, contaminated towels and daily use can introduce new marks. Gentle maintenance and suitable paint protection help preserve the improved appearance.
Allow approximately four hours for a typical one-stage service, six hours for two stages and seven hours for three stages. These are planning estimates. Preparation, vehicle size, paint response and additional protection can extend the appointment; we confirm timing with your quote.
A new vehicle can have light marring from transport, storage, washing or dealer preparation. It needs an inspection, not an automatic multi-stage treatment. If the finish is already in good condition, only minimal preparation may be needed before protection.
No. Wet sanding removes material more aggressively and is considered only for specific defects on suitable paint. It requires a separate assessment and agreement. Many swirl marks can be improved with machine polishing alone.
Some painted or gloss-black trim can be carefully refined after checking the material and condition. Textured plastic, matte surfaces and damaged finishes need different care. Ask us to inspect the trim and confirm whether it is included in your quote.
Ceramic coating supports water repellency and easier washing. PPF adds a physical film for protection against small road impacts on covered panels. Paint preparation comes first. We can help you compare the two and confirm what preparation is appropriate for the selected product.
